SPG offers a wide range of professional development to its employees and partnering California school districts. SELPA-wide trainings are also provided. Trainings and in-services are presented by The Speech Pathology Group’s Clinical Supervisors or by nationally recognized speakers in the field of Special Education and Speech and Language Pathology. SPG provides nearly 50 different trainings on a wide range of topics, including report writing and eligibility, pragmatics, autism, behavior management, fluency, apraxia, AAC and many more.
SPG also offers teacher trainings on topics related to classroom staff, including Response to Intervention, Typical and Atypical Speech and Language Development, Working with English Language Learners and SLP-Teacher Collaboration.
