Presented by SPG BCBA Clinical Supervisors (3 hrs)
Behaviors are considered a form of communication to convey a need for attention, access to tangibles, escape/avoidance, and sensory needs. Participants will gain a solid foundation in the principles of ABA and the reasons problem behaviors occur. Behavior modification techniques are discussed and practiced. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how to identify and respond to challenging behaviors in the classroom.
